Sarla Memorial Government Girls College, Safidon is Higher educational institute situated at the outskirts of
the town Safidon, District Jind, Haryana. The college has a humble start in July 2011 in an old building of
Government Senior Secondary School. Two programmes namely Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of
Commerce (B.Com) were introduced in the year 2011. The college was shifted to the present site campus of
16.15 acres in Nov. 2017. Since then the college is continuously growing in terms of infrastructure and learning
resources. Students from the town and surrounding villages come to study here. Initially this college was
affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, now w.e.f. session 2017-18 the college is Affiliated with
Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind.
