S.M.G.C.W. has registered NSS unit, which takes the responsibility of community, based activities. NSS unit organizes programs such as Tree Plantation, Swacch Bharat, Cleanliness drive, Matdan jagrati abhiyaan in the nearby villages. Organizing such events creates awareness about the society and their social responsibility. 

 College organizes awareness programs on environmental awareness cleanliness, Tree plantation in campus. NSS unit has organized guest talk on topics like gender issues, women’s security on different occasions. 

 College have conducted many extension activities for society in vicinity and at different other locations.
